SC restrains all courts from entertaining matter pertaining to BCCI, state cricket associations

NEW DELHI: A bench of the Supreme Court,  headed by Justice S A Bobde, said that the Amicus Curiae, P S Narasimha would take a call as which cricketing members of the BCCI needs fund and it would release funds as per the necessity.

The Apex Court also said that Mr Narasimha would also be the mediator in the cases or issue which will arise in the parties in BCCI cases.

The Apex Court said and favoured BCCI CoA (Committee of Administrators) to take over the functioning of Bihar cricket association after it was brought to its notice that its senior office bearers have been caught on camera for demanding money for selection of players and FIR has been lodged against them.

The Apex Court was hearing the petition filed by Cricket Association of Bihar (CAB) with respect to the irregularities in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).  (AGENCIES)
