JAMMU: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Thursday accused Congress and National Conference (NC) of celebrating China’s Veto against India, which, he said, was yet another evidence of their stooping so low for the sake of electoral benefits.
Speaking to the media persons on the sidelines of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) meeting here, Dr Singh said, following Jawaharlal Nehru’s “Hindi – Chini Bhai Bhai” debacle that culminated in India’s humiliating defeat in 1962 war, the Congress party should have learnt lessons.
“However, over half-a-century later, it is yet once again proven that the misconceived notions continue to prevail on the Congress leadership’s mindset.”
Similarly, Dr Singh said, the National Conference vice-president’s cryptic, back-handed tweets smacked of perversion which was often result of frustrated political ambitions. (
