JAMMU, May 12: Reacting to the judgment by the Supreme Court of India over 4G services in J&K, Sheikh Abdul Rehman, Ex-MP and Chief Patron of Forum for Peace & Territorial Integrity J&K along with Ram Singh Chauhan, General Secretary and Kuldeep Kumar Rao in joint statement said that constitution of a committee to recommend implementation of 4G internet services as directed by SC has completely smashed hopes of J&K people.
Rehman said that 4G internet services are of paramount importance for all the sections of society like students, workers, business houses etc.
“Linking the same with security of the nation holds no water at a time when top ultras have openly confessed that Indian forces have upper hands in Kashmir,” he stated.
He also said that students and youths had pinned high hopes on the apex court but the prayer of petitioners found no favour in view of stiff opposition by the Government.
