JAMMU, Dec 2: Ending uncertainty, the Search Committee has invited applications from the eligible candidates for selection of new Vice-Chancellor of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra.
An advertisement in this regard was issued today by SMVDU Registrar, according to which, January 2, 2023 is the last date for submission of application forms for the top post. The candidate should not be more than 65 years of age as on closing date of receipt of applications of this advertisement.
Further, the applicant must have a minimum of 10 years experience as a Professor and the application form should have references of three nominations, preferably by any present or former Vice-Chancellor of State university, or equivalent.
Pertinent to mention that the incumbent Vice-Chancellor of SMVDU, Prof Ravindra Kumar Sinha has already completed his three-year tenure since August 5, 2022.
