SRINAGAR, Sept 1: A committee constituted on the directions of Supreme Court visited various flood-affected areas of Srinagar.
The areas visited by the committee included Raj Bagh, Jawahar Nagar, Kursu Raj Bagh, Mehzoor Nagar, Indira Nagar and Shivpora.
The committee assessed the ground realities and interacted with large number of affected persons, who apprised the committee members about their woes, plight and sufferings.
The committee also inspected various hospitals of Srinagar city which include Bone and Joint Hospital, Barzulla, Maternity Centre, Sanat Nagar, LD Hospital, Hazuri Bagh and Relief Camp at Banga Sahib Gurudwara, Sanat Nagar, Barzulla. The committee interacted with the authorities of the hospitals which include Principal, Medical Superintendent, Dy. Medical Superintendents, HoDs, Faculty Members and patients.
