JAMMU, Dec 24: Scheduled Caste (SC) community youth of Patoli Mangotrian held a meeting today, which was arranged by youth leader Vijay Bhagat.
While addressing the gathering, RK Kalsotra, State President, All India Confederation of SC, ST, OBC Organisations sought support from youth to join the proposed Assembly Gherao to pressurize the Government to clear the pending backlogs of 23000, 16000, 5000 posts, to restore reservation in promotions rights, to clear all pending cases of scholarships and their future timely disbursement.
He stated that the Confederation will also highlight the unemployment issues of the youth of the community to make them skilled and provide the free interest loan to start small business houses.
All the participants assured their full support to the move and decided to move door to door to spread awareness to each individual.
Among others who spoke were Janak Ram, Baldev Raj, Kishore Kumar, Surinder Kumar, Chaman Lal, Bishan Dass, Satish Kumar and Gourab.
