SBMH organizes medical camp on chronic diseases

JAMMU, Oct 4: Shirya Bhatt Mission Hospital (SBMH), Jammu organized a two-day camp on Urology and other chronic diseases.
The eminent doctors from USA, Dr Shiban Warikoo (MD), Urologist and Dr Naina Warikoo (MD) Physician Specialist, examined the patients.A large number of patients from Srinagar, Jammu and Kishtwar were examined in the camp.
Besides medical advice, Dr Warikoo advised patienst for surgery and offered them free surgeries in the selected Mission hospitals of India. It may be mentioned here that Dr Warikoo is performing surgeries of kidney, Prostrate and other renal related problems in the hospitals of Jeave Sewa Sansthan in the Madhya Pradesh and visits regularly from USA to ensure the service to poor and needy patients.
During the camp, patients of diabetes, hypertension and other diseases were attended by Dr Naina Warikoo. Dr Warikoo was of the opinion that the change in life style and the stress in the migrants have badly affected their health. She advised that the community shall adopt the behaviour which will involve the physical labour and shall do regular Yoga to reduce the stress.
RK Pandita, Manager of the Hospital, informed that it was 182nd camp organized by the hospital during last one decade. Vir Ji Bhat, general secretary of the Hospital, appealed the public to come forward for organizing such camps in the other areas of Jammu and its adjoining areas in near future.
