KATRA, Jan 29: The State Bank of India today provided a Critical Care Ambulance to the upcoming Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital at Kakryal.
In this connection, Rajnish Kumar, Managaing Director, National Banking Group, State Bank of India, Corporate Central Office, Mumbai, handed over the keys of the Ambulance to Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, at a brief function held at Spiritual Growth Centre, Katra.
This Critical Care Ambulance is fully equipped with all modern gadgets like Ventilator, Cardiac Monitor and other life support systems for transportation of sick pilgrims.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Shrine Board lauded the gesture of the Bank and said that this would further supplement the fleet of ambulances available with the Hospital and the Shrine Board for transportation of the pilgrims in the hour of need.
Speaking on the occasion, the Managing Director, State Bank of India, said that the Bank has provided this Ambulance to the Hospital under its Corporate Social Responsibility Programme as a token of contribution towards the initiatives being taken by the Shrine Board for the facilitation of the pilgrims.
Among those present on the occasion were Dr. S. P. Singh, CEO, Narayana Vaishno Devi Superspeciality Hospital Pvt. Ltd., Anil Kishora, Chief General Manager and Kumar Rajan, General Manager, Network-3, State Bank of India, Chandigarh Circle, A. K. Singh, Deputy General Manager, Zonal Office, Jammu, Ajay Gupta, Regional Manager, Region-3 and other senior executives of the Bank.
