CHANDIGARH, July 2: State Bank of India (SBI) in association with Blood Bank Society, PGIMER, Chandigarh, organized a voluntary blood donation camp here today at SBI Local Head Office to mark ‘Circle Foundation Day’.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Chief General Manager, Vinod Jaiswal in the presence of General Managers—Ajay Kumar Jha (Himachal Pradesh & UT of J&K and Ladakh, Sumit Phakka (Punjab) and Sujit Kumar (Haryana & UT of Chandigarh).
The event was also graced by the members of SBI Ladies Club led by Priti Jaiswal, President SBI Ladies Club who supported and encouraged the voluntary blood donation activity.
On this occasion, Vinod Jaiswal, Chief General Manager, SBI, Chandigarh Circle along with the Circle Management Committee Members encouraged the donors for participating in the noble cause.
A total of 122 units of blood were donated by the SBI staff. The PGI Blood Bank Society asked the donors that their spirit of service to humanity was remarkable.
President, SBI Ladies Club and other members presented certificates and mementos to blood donors.
