JAMMU, Aug 8: State Bank of India today launched unified merchant acceptance solution for retail merchants.
Multi option payment acceptance device MOPAD is an integrated 4 in 1 merchant payment acceptance on POS terminal, which will facilitate payment acceptance through credit/debit cards, BHIM UPI, Bharat QR and SBI Buddy. MOPAD will enhance facilities at existing POS machines of the bank.
This new facility was inaugurated by Deputy General Manager SBI Jammu and Kashmir Abhay Kishore Rathore at M/s Rohini Handloom, Shivaji Chowk, Nanak Nagar, Jammu.
Large number of customers and senior functionaries of the bank were present on the occasion.
MOPAD product was simultaneously launched by SBI at PAN India level. Initially it will be rolled out on 90,280 terminals deployed at retail merchants. The product is in tune with Bank’s core digital theme of ‘Cash Ki Aadat Badlo’.
