JAMMU, Feb 13: State Bank of India (SBI) today donated a Physiotherapy Machine to Ahata-e-Waqaar, a day care and recreation centre for the senior citizens and elderly persons at lower Roop Nagar, Jammu.
The machine was handed over to the committee of senior citizens/elderly persons, Ahata-e-Waqaar by Gurdeep Singh, Regional Manager, SBI, RBO-2 Jammu for the health benefits of elderly persons.
Addressing the members of the Centre, the Regional manager mentioned that SBI continues to focus on support to education, health care and assistance to poor and underprivileged.
Pawan Sharma, chairman, Senior Citizens’ Committee, apprised the Regional Manager of SBI about various facilities available in the Centre. Shashi Paul Sharma, vice chairman of the Committee was also present.
