JAMMU, Feb 4: The Deputy General Manager (DGM), State Bank of India (SBI), J&K and Ladakh, Ravindra Kumar Gupta, today met with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to discuss the bank’s initiatives for enhancing financial infrastructure and promoting growth in the regions.
The meeting, held at the CM’s office in Jammu, focused on aligning the bank’s strategies with the Government’s development goals to drive economic progress and support all segments of society.
Gupta emphasized SBI’s commitment to working alongside Government agencies to ensure smooth credit flow, from marginal farmers to large corporations.
Gupta also updated the Chief Minister on the bank’s branch network and achievements in the region, stressing the importance of strengthening the partnership between the bank and the Government.
Both parties agreed to collaborate further to create an environment that supports sustainable development in the region.
