JAMMU, May 29: Shaheed Bhagat Amarnath Jagannath Charitable Trust (SBAJCT), Shalimar Chowk, has invited the public to pay tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Amarnath Ji on June 1 at Shaheed Bhagat Amarnath Park, Shalimar Chowk, Jammu.
In a press conference here today Trust chairman, Surinder Bhagat said that all the arrangements for a peaceful and dignified observance of the event have been finalized.
He further said that Shaheed Bhagat Amarnath Ji’s sacrifice is a source of inspiration for the society.
“On June 1, Havan will be organised at 8 am while the wreath-laying ceremony will be performed at 9 am at Shaheed Smarak Park and at 11 am there will be arrival of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha after which the floral tribute will be paid and this will be followed by anti-drug awareness programme, seminar and collective Nasha Mukti pledge,” Surinder Bhagat maintained.
R.L Bhagat, Rashpal Digra, L.D Gorkha, Anil Masoom and Yashpal Singh were also present on this occasion.
