JAMMU, June 30: Sunil Kumar Sawhney will take over as Rotary Club Jammu president on July 1, 2022 for another year 2022-23 for the second term.
Earlier he served as Club president in the year 2017-18.
There are so many feathers on his cap in Rotary organization. He has served as Assistant Governor, District Officer, Chief Sergeant at Arms of, Zonal Chairman of J&K Zone of RID 3070.
He is working on project Gift of Sight in which he has arranged cornea replacement of more than 50 cornea blinds in J&K and UP free of cost including one for a 12 years old girl.
He has also facilitated CHD surgery on children suffering from heart disease by arranging their free of cost surgeries in prestigious heart institute of India like Escort and Max Hospitals Delhi under Gift of Life Project of Rotary.
Another project he is handling is Gift of Hearing, under which he has arranged hearing screening of more than 800 neonatal and more than 500 old aged persons in J&K for their hearing loss free of cost in a special designed sound proof mobile VAN equipped with latest sophisticated equipments.
