NEW DELHI, Nov 20: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh today appealed to people of Delhi to once again give a decisive mandate to BJP in Municipal Corporation (MCD) elections and save Delhi from the anarchy of “Fake” Aadmi Party (FAP). It’s not AAP, it’s actually FAP, the Minister added.
Speaking to media on the sidelines of a public road show held by him in the Greater Kailash area of national capital as a part of the MCD election campaign, Dr Jitendra Singh reminded the people that just before grabbing power in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo used to travel in a Maruti 800 car, used to wear deliberately cramped shirt and sweater, untucked shirt and a modest muffler and quite adept in flanking his 5 rupee reynold pen.
Dr Jitendra Singh quipped, “Kya se Kya Ho Gaye, Dekhte-Dekhte”. AAP supremo has become Khaas supremo, as now he travels in private jet for election campaign in Gujarat, moves in convoy of expensive cars. The Minister also recalled that when Delhi was gasping for oxygen during COVID, Delhi CM was busy with a massive and expensive facelift of his official residence with a swanky swimming pool inside. The Aam Aadmi CM initially used to roam around with party cadres, but now enjoys a posse of 64 police personnel to guard him.
He is the first Chief Minister in Independent India, who works without any portfolio and assigned all the Ministerial Berth to his chosen few to do all kinds of dirty deals, as has been exposed in the recent CBI probe into Delhi Excise Policy, the Minister observed.
Dr Jitendra Singh remarked that one of the Khaas Ministers of the CM is enjoying body massage as a five-star facility in Tihar jail. He said, while other VIP accused are getting Aam treatment, this Minister gets Khaas treatment, instead of Sazaa – the Minister getting full VVIP Mazaa. It must be noted that the Minister was denied bail on several occasions and is in jail for the last five months for a Hawala Racket being probed by the ED. This is clear cut violation of the Jail Manual and the Court should take suo motu cognizance of this, he added.
Dr Jitendra Singh said that Delhi is a unique model not only in India, but in the entire world, where the Education and Excise Minister is the same person. He said, the Education Minister failed to provide education to every child in each household, but as Excise Minister, he was almost able to implement free home delivery of liquors. He said, the new excise policy, which the AAP was forced to withdraw was brought in with huge under-the- table kickbacks and it allowed free run to liquor mafia to open shops near educational establishments as well as in government colonies and markets. The Minister was named as accused number 1 in the First Information report (FIR) filed on August 17 in the alleged irregularities and summoned by the CBI for probe.
Pointing to another fake promise of the Fake Model CM to clean Yamuna, Dr Jitendra Singh lamented that the holy river is more polluted today than it was before the AAP formed was government in Delhi seven years ago. He said, pollution in Yamuna has worsened with the fecal bacteria level being at a record high of 14 times and this has been revealed by the December 2021 water quality status report by Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC). The Minister also felt said that Chhath devotees from Bihar and UP this year were seen standing in the toxic foam-laden Yamuna river near Delhi’s Kalindi Kunj to offer prayers to the Sun God.
Dr Jitendra Singh concluded by saying that people of Delhi can’t be fooled for long by freebies and the revdi culture is taking a huge toll in long term financial status of Delhi. AAP Model and its leadership without any Economic and Governance vision is bound to fail in the long run, as the famous saying goes, “you can’t fool all the people for all of the time”.”Is Baar Jhoot ka pol khulega, MCD main phir se Kamal Khilega”.
