KISHTWAR, Sept 11: After assuming charge as new Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Saugat Biswas today held a introductory meeting with the officers of the district.
While reviewing the staff position in Education Department in district, Chief Education Officer apprised him about the various issues pertaining the department particularly the shortage of staff in rural schools. CEO further informed that the two posts of Principals in the schools are also lying vacant.
Stressing on improving the work culture in the district , Mr Biswas directed all the District Officers to strictly monitor the punctuality of staff working in the department and asked them to frequently conduct surprise visits besides cross check the actual presence and the presence shown in the attendance registers.
He also asked all the departments to come with the power point presentations of the various issues concerning them so that a detailed discussion could be held and the issues be resolved at an earliest.
