JAMMU, Sept 6: A grand ‘Satwah’ by renowned religious preacher Suresh Shastri began here today at Burn, Ratti Chapri, near Bawe Talab Mishriwala.
A large number of devotees, including women, attended the ‘Satwah’ on first day and listened to the religious discourses of Suresh Shastri, who threw light on importance of following the path of `Bhakti’ and `Dharma’.
The seven-day long `Satwah’ has been organized by Baba Chanchal Singh of Dargah Baba Ali Badshah. Suresh Shastri along with a number of other religious preachers and renowned Kathavachaks will deliver sermons during the Satwah.
Besides a number of prominent persons, DIG Jammu-Kathua Range, Ashkoor Wani also took part in the religious gathering and offered a Chaddar on the Dargah of Baba Ali Bhadshah.
