Sat tours South Kargil, seeks votes for Namgyal

KARGIL, Apr 28: Campaigning for Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC and BJP candidate from Ladakh-Kargil Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, former State president BJP and Ex Minister, Sat Sharma held a series of public meetings in South Kargil.
Addressing the meetings, Sharma urged people to come out and vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and this can only be achieved if Tsering Namgyal is elected from this constituency. He said that the BJP is committed to the welfare of the State and would continue with welfare and developmental initiatives taken by the Prime Minister.
Sharma said that parties like Congress, NC and PDP have only played politics and always ignored the sentiments of Leh-Ladakh region in particular. The former Minister also showed confidence that people of the region will support the party on the basis of work it has done for the welfare of the people.
State president BJYM, Vikas Choudhary, who was accompanying Sat Sharma, blamed other parties for not looking beyond their personal welfare. He said Modi had ensured large-scale development and was making continuous efforts to turn the country into a global superpower. He appealed the masses to vote for Tsering Namgyal.
All district presidents of Leh were also accompanying the former State president of BJP.
