Sat starts development works in Jammu West

JAMMU, Nov 14: Promoting his vision to develop Jammu West as a model Constituency, State BJP vice president and MLA, Sat Sharma started developmental works at various areas of Jammu West which include Lanes in Janipur and Reshamghar Colony of Ward Number 37 and 13.
The works also included upgradation of Park at Janipur area. Accompanied by officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Sharma started the works in the presence of scores of people hailing from the areas.
The works included construction of two lanes and upgradation of park at Radha Krishan Mohalla and Keshav Nagar, Janipur and construction/upgradation of two lanes at Reshamghar Colony near Government Girls School. The works will be done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of around Rupees 15 lakh.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that Jammu West is progressing towards an era of development and taking developmental works in all spheres of the Constituency will surely give a new face to each and every nook and corner of Jammu West.
Lauding the efforts of the JMC, he stated that even the Corporation is concerned about the well being of the masses and he assured that in coming days, dozens of works in various areas of Jammu West will start so that public could be provided with all the basic facilities possible.
He also toured both the wards along with JMC officials and on demands of public directed the officials to note down pending works in the areas and also asked them to take up the works as soon as possible.
X-En JMC (Civil), Parvodh Sharma, X-En (Elect), Surjit Singh, AEE UEED, Satish Sharma, AEE SK Pandoh, JE SK Raina and many others accompanied the MLA during the inauguration.
