JAMMU, Jan 27: In order to know about the problems being faced by the inhabitants of Jammu West Assembly segment, former Minister and ex-MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) visited Vishal Nagar area of Ward 40 and interacted with a large number of people there.
A public meeting was organized by the residents of the area. He was also accompanied by district president, Munish Khajuria, Mandal president, Keshav Chopra, Corporator, Neelam Nargotra and many others. The meeting was organized by social worker, Abhishek Sharma and BJP district leader, Satyabhushan Dubey.
Addressing the meeting, Sat Sharma said that a fruitful discussion was held with the locals and many things came up during interaction, where the locals stressed for taking up some utmost important works in the area besides completing the same within stipulated time frame. He said that on spot redressal of their main problem was done which included acute shortage of water supply in the area. He said now the supply has been restored and no more problems will occur in future regarding water shortage. Sharma called the concerned officials of various departments and forwarded the grievances of the people to them for which officials assured that their demand will be met shortly and wherever required, developmental works will be taken up in all areas of Jammu West.
Munish Khajuria said that no area of Jammu West is left behind in terms of development and every area is developed to its fullest. He stated that every type of infra from basic to highest level has been provided to the inhabitants by former MLA who is always in field serving the needy in the best way possible.
Keshav Chopra said that under the leadership of former MLA and with the assistance of each and every activist, thousands were benefited under various schemes of the Central Government which changed the lifestyle of many.
Neelam Nargotra said that every elected Corporator from BJP is working on the ground 24X7 and development in the Ward has touched heights during the tenure of former MLA.
Mandal general secretary Munish Gupta, district president SC Morcha Yash Pal Shivgotra, Rajesh Saini, Rahul Nargotra, Paramjit Ravinder, Raju Gupta, Karan Banotra, Harish Dutta, Nitish Kumar, Deepak Choudhary, Sunny Kumar, Ravi Kant, Arun Sharma, Sunil Sharma, Rohit Dutt, Rahul, Vasu, Tarun Mehra, Satish Sharma, Rajeev Mathur, Rajrattan Raina and may others were present during the public meeting.
