JAMMU, Sept 8: Former Minister and MLA Sat Sharma (CA) today sanctioned an amount of Rs 8,34,909 from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for construction and upgradation of lanes adjoining Shaani Mandir at Krishna Nagar, in Ward No. 12 of Jammu West Assembly Constituency. The MLA announced this during his visit to the area. He was accompanied by local residents and political activists of the area. The works of these lanes will be constructed under the supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
A deputation from Krishna Nagar met the MLA regarding the upgradation of lanes of the area after which he visited the locality personally to take the stock of the problem along with JMC officials. During the visit Sharma issued instructions to JMC to fulfil the demand of the residents and take up the work in hand. He sanctioned the amount for the same from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Sat Sharma said that this Monsoon season has been tough on some areas of his Constituency due to which heavy damages to lanes and roads have been caused. He said that all works related to damaged lanes will be taken up in upcoming month and will be constructed in a speedy manner. Sharma also said that the development works of Jammu West Constituency are going under full swing and the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) will be utilised wherever necessary.
Mandal President Jeet Angral, Kuldeep Kumar, Surjeet Singh, Arun Salan, Sunil Kumar, Surinder Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Sat Pal and several others were also present on the occasion.
