Sat Sharma kick-starts works in Jammu West

JAMMU, May 16: Promoting the cleanliness drive in Jammu West, BJP MLA Sat Sharma, kick started construction works of  lanes and drains in Ward Number 25 of Jammu West in presence of senior officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
The MLA kick started the works of  lanes and drains near Unique Academy behind Government Girls School, Rehari Colony of Ward number 25   which will be constructed under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of around Rs 2.50 lakhs.
Addressing the gathering, the MLA said that he will continue serving the masses of Jammu West with full dedication and honesty and will never disappoint any person residing in the constituency. He also promised that each and every developmental work taken in the constituency will be done to its fullest and in the coming days.
He also stressed upon promoting cleanliness drive everywhere in the constituency in order to build a clean era. He said that he will make every possible effort to improve the condition of lanes and drains in the constituency within a year so that the public might not face much problems. He also said that projects worth crores  have already been started in the constituency by various departments in order to provide new infrastructure for the use of public which includes improvement in water and electricity supply, roads and other necessities of the public.
Residents of the Ward  thanked the MLA for resolving their long pending demand. The MLA also reviewed the sanitation condition of the Ward and also directed the officials to look into the matter of sanitation on priority.
The MLA also toured lanes of Ward Number 24 as well and reviewed the conditions of lanes and drains which needed proper attention. He also directed JMC officials to take those works on priority and prepare estimates for the works of lanes and drains in the area.
