JAMMU, July 15: To provide better infrastructure to patients in the Hospital, State BJP vice president, MLA Jammu West and chairman RKS (Rogi Kalyan Samiti), Sat Sharma started works for repairs and renovation in Government Hospital Sarwal.
Sharma started these works in the presence of administration of the hospital, officials of PWD, social and political activists and people belonging to all walks of life.
The works that include renovation/repairs, distempering/ painting, repair of plaster of the Laboratory and Ground Floor and First Floor of Old Block including Dental Section, will be supervised under the PWD (Public Works Department) at an estimated cost of around Rs 13 lakh. Sharma also contributed an amount of Rs 5 lakh for the works in the Hospital from his CDF (Constituency Development Fund).
Addressing the media persons, Sat Sharma (CA) said that it was a long pending demand of the hospital and these works were required in order to provide a quality infrastructure to the patients and attendants visiting in the Hospital.
He also assured that other necessary works of the hospital will also be taken up soon so that no problem is caused to the patients and attendants in the future.
