JAMMU, Jan 28: Sat Sharma, former Minister along with Yudhvir Sethi, State vice president BJP and Jeet Kumar Angral corporator Ward No. 12 and former Chairman Social Justice Committee, JMC inaugurated the developmental work of lanes at Dogra Mohalla opposite Kwality Sweet Shop Ward No. 12 with estimated amount of Rs 35 Lakh. On the occasion corporator, Pramodh Kapahi along BJP Mandal president, Keshav Chopra with Bazar Association president, Vishal Gupta, Junior Engineer, JMC, Rajat Manhas, Junior Engineer, JMC Akhilesh Gupta, Supervisor, Yogal Manhas and large number of Ward members Surjit Singh Chib, Kundan Lal Gupta, Anil Angral, Ramesh Thakyal, Manmohan Sharma, Man Mohan Sharam, Ajay Gupta ,Tarun Angral were also present.
Former Minister said that the area falls under low lying area of Jammu city and during Monsoon people of the area had to face problems but now after developmental works taken up in hand in the Ward, the issue had been resolved. He also appealed to the public to keep their localities and surroundings clean so that they can stay safe from diseases.
He said that he is very pleased with the dedication and effort of corporator and former chairman who has been working hard to make this ward a Modern Ward of Jammu City.
State vice president, BJP Yudhvir Sethi also showed his confidence in the efforts of the corporator. He said Corporator in his tenure had done many developmental works of the Ward and he hoped that in future these developmental works will led to better facilities to the residents of the Ward.
Former Chairman said that it was a long pending demand of the residents for the upgradation of the lane which has been started today. He said being the corporator of the Ward it is his duty to provide the residents with the basic facilities.
