Sat inaugurates newly constructed works

JAMMU, Nov 10: Fulfilling the aspirations of residents of Jammu West concerning development in all spheres of the area,
State President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) today inaugurated newly constructed works in Ward 37 of Janipur area of his Constituency. He was accompanied by a large number of people including Jammu Municipal Corporation, (JMC) officers, residents of the area, social and political activists of the area on the occasion.
The works were constructed through the amount paid by the MLA under his  Constituency Development Fund (CDF) scheme and partially funded by the Corporation. The works were executed under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rupees 25 lakh. The works included re-modelling of Tagore Park at Ward 37 and several lanes and drains under the stage work of JMC which were given on priority by the MLA.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the construction and remodelling of these lanes and drains were necessary as in rainy season the water always entered inside the houses of the local residents and keeping in view the channelized system of water in these areas, the works were taken up in order to provide best possible facilities to the residents of Janipur.
He also said that no ward of Jammu West will be left behind in terms of development and it can be seen from the works being constructed in various areas of Jammu West where works pertaining to replacement of water and sewerage pipes are completed in many areas and other works are also in progress in certain areas as well and  blacktopping of roads have also been completed in majority areas and in coming time the results will come on ground pertaining to development in all spheres of Jammu West.
