JAMMU, May 14: For distributing medical kits amongst COVID positive patients in Jammu West, former State president, BJP handed over 100 medical kits to Jammu West unit of party headed by district president, Munish Khajuria. The kits were provided by district general secretary BJP, Rajesh Gupta. BJP leader and corporator Sanjay Baru, district general secretary, Karan Sharma and district spokesperson, Ravi Kant, district BJP leaders, Rajan Gupta and Anupam Gupta were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it is indeed a great initiative taken by BJP leaders for providing full medical kits to COVID patients prescribed by the LG headed Government which includes medicines like Paracetamol, Ivermectin, Azithromycin, Zinc and Vitamins C & D. He said these kits will be immediately handed over to the COVID positive patients who are not able to cope up with their medical expenses and he also said that he will provide 100 Oximeters to them which can be distributed to the patients along with medicines.
He said that every possible effort is being made to save humanity and to overpower the pandemic and it can be witnessed that BJP activists are seen working on ground and helping the needy in these tough times to provide assistance to the public including COVID positive patients. He also stated that organizational teams have been constituted across UT in all districts to provide assistance to everyone concerning basic requirements and appealed to the masses to approach the BJP J&K helpline numbers if emergency persists.
He also stated that Congress and other opposition parties are misleading the public on various issues related to COVID but in spite of helping the public in these tough times they are playing divisive politics, he added.
