Sat distributes PMAY approval letters amongst beneficiaries

JAMMU, Oct 13:   Former minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) distributed Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) approval letters among the beneficiaries at a program held at Kabir Nagar area of Ward 40. The program was organized by Corporator, Neelam Nargotra and was attended by beneficiaries, local residents and political activists of the area. A total number of 20 approval letters were handed over to the beneficiaries of PMAY who applied for Housing loan.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it is the priority of the Prime Minister to provide basic amenities to every section of society and he has undertaken a mission where up to 2022 when India will attain 75 years of Independence, there will be Housing for all and every Economic Weaker Section (EWS) in country will have a Pucca house and Central Government is determined to fulfil this mission with other milestones which it has set to achieve for betterment of country.
He stated that today 20 beneficiaries were given the approval letters under PMAY which will further help them in construction of their houses in a planned manner and under the scheme, four instalments will be released in favor of the beneficiaries amounting to a total of Rs 1.66 lakh each which will overcome many problems for EWS.
He also appealed others as well to take benefits of Central Government sponsored schemes so that lifestyle of people could be uplifted in many ways. He also stated that thousands in Jammu West have availed benefits under various schemes of Modi Government which is one of the reasons that has made Jammu West as one of the best Constituency of Jammu and Kashmir.
Neelam Nargotra stated that in Ward 40 hundreds of people belonging to EWS have availed the benefits of many schemes of Central Government including PMAY, Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Pension schemes and others and this has happened due to the efforts and recommendations of the former MLA Jammu West who is always concerned about the well being of masses.
Yash Pal Shivgotra, Karan Sharma, Puran Chand, Krishan Lal, Vijay Bajyal, Sushma Kumari, Paramjit Kour, Tarsem Lal, Ashok Kumar, Abhishek Sharma, Arun, Tipu, Sachin, Rahul, Sumanyu Gupta and several others were also present.
