JAMMU, Dec 13: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Jammu West and State Vice President BJP Sat Sharma allocated Rs 6 lakh from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the construction and renovation of Hans Raj Mahajan Hall.
Sharma contributed the amount to fulfill the long pending demand of construction of first floor and water tank of the community hall which will facilitate the local residents of all communities.
While speaking, Sat Sharma said that the construction of the new hall and renovation will allow people from all walks of life to avail the services provided by Mahajan Sabha.
“Development of the constituency is my top priority and it is my duty to look after needs of people belonging to any community”, he said and assured the people that any type of financial help will be looked after for the construction work of the Mahajan Hall.
MLA also said that the development works of Jammu West constituency are going on full swing. Work under various departments like PHE for laying of new water pipes is also underway which will reduce the wastage of water by 40 per cent and provide better supply to the people of Jammu West constituency. Also the work under PDD will ensure that people will get proper electricity facilities by the end of 2016, he added.
