Sarveshwar Foods launches first organic store in Valley

JAMMU, May 16: Sarveshwar Foods Limited today launched it’s first organic store – Nimbark, in Kashmir valley, after the successful launch of Nimbark Organic Stores in Jammu.
Sarveshwar foods initiated organic farming in Jammu and Kashmir and after putting in more than nine years, it has now decided to feed the domestic as well as international consumers with healthy organic food products through its own dedicated retail chain of Nimbark stores. The company launched its first Nimbark Organic Store in Kashmir valley today at Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar at a glittering function which was attended by galaxy of personalities.
Syed Altaf Bukhari, Minister of Finance, Labour & Employment, was the chief guest on the occasion.  He inaugurated the store which offers whole range of organic products.
In his address, he appreciated the efforts of Sarveshwar group in bringing safe food at doorsteps of Kashmir people and wished that more initiatives will be taken which can boost the rural economy and at the same time help in maintaining a good health. He also informed that Sarveshwar is marketing it’s produce world wide and urged the farmers to grow more and more organic produce which will be marketed by Sarveshwar group which belongs to the State of J&K.
Navin Kumar Choudhary, Principal Secretary, Finance Department was the guest of honour and in his speech he threw light on the benefits of organic food. He also appreciated the efforts being made by Sarveshwar group for the betterment of the State. Parvez Ahmad, Chairman of J&K Bank was the guest of honour. In his speech, he mentioned that organic food is need of hour. He appreciated the efforts of Sarveshwar group under leadership of Rohit Gupta to make organic products available to the people of Kashmir.
On the occasion, Rohit Gupta Managing Director, Sarveshwar Foods Limited complimented the gathering and promised that the company is always looking for the betterment of people of J&K. He also complimented the people of J&K for their overwhelming response to the IPO brought by the company last month which was the very first IPO by any private company from the State.
He said that in this organic retail outlet, all types of organic cereals, pulses, spices, dry fruit, super foods are available. Company has got the plan to go with chain of stores under franchise model and plans to have about 20 stores nationally by this financial year end.
