RS PURA, Dec 1: State general secretary of All Jammu-Kashmir Panchayat Conference and Sarpanch of Gandli Panchayat of Block RS Pura, S. Gurdeep Singh Saini today laid foundation stone for a tube-well along with a pump room and laying of water pipes with an estimated cost of Rs. 4 crore at village Gandli.
He also started blacktopping of a road in village Kool Kothe.
Pyare Lal, Somnath, Pawan Singh, Satya Devi, Chairman Darshan Singh and former Chairman Amar Singh Charak were also present on the occasion.
Sarpanch Gurdeep Singh said that the promises made to the people of the Panchayat are being fulfilled without any compromise.
He assured the people of the Panchayat that all efforts would be made to provide every basic facility to them.
The Sarpanch expressed gratitude to Prem Singh, Amar Singh Charak and others who had given their land for installation of tube-well and said that with the installation of this tube-well, people of many Wards of the Panchayat would get clean drinking water.
