R.S PURA, Mar 20: State general secretary All Jammu-Kashmir Panchayat Conference and Sarpanch Gandli Panchayat here, S. Gurdeep Singh Saini today started work of a slab on culvert in village Kool.
Naib Sarpanch Pyare Lal and Pawan Singh along with other Panchayat representatives and villagers were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Gurdeep Singh said that due to narrow bridge built on the canal to reach the village, people had to face difficulties and even the vehicles could not pass easily through it due to which he took the matter with the authorities concerned and construction of a big bridge has been initiated with the work of laying slab on it started today on completion of which people will get relief.
The Sarpanch said that it has always been his endeavour to provide better basic facilities to the people of the Panchayat and solve the problems being faced by them. He said that development works will pace up in the Panchayat and will be continued in coming days.
Harjinder Singh, Darshan Singh and other prominent people of the area were also present on the occasion.
