UDHAMPUR, Mar 20: Foundation Day of All Jammu and Kashmir Patwar Association was celebrated by organizing a function at Jagriti Niketan Old Age Home Udhampur, by Provincial body along with District body Udhampur.
Padam Shree Prof Shiv Dutt Nirmohi was chief guest on the occasion while Jugal Kishore Gupta, President Jagriti Niketan Old Age Home and his team was guests of honour. The motto of organizing this program at Old Age Home was just to convey the message to the society that Patwar Association is always ready to serve mankind at forefront.
Speaking on the occasion, Shiv Nirmohi highlighted the contribution of Patwaries during his journey of literature upto Padam Shree award. He specially mentioned role of Patwaries during his visit to different villages of J&K for research work. “I met with Patwaris because they know each and every thing of society such as conditions of living, their culture, caste and language which remain always useful in my life journey upto Padamshree award,” he explained.
Jugal Kishore Gupta stressed upon charity and social activities to be inculcated in every human being so that society becomes more active and helpful to each other.
Provencial president Sham Swaroop , Ex State President and incumbent President Revenue Condition Committee Mushtaq Ahmed Ganie, Ex State President Raman Raj also stressed upon doing social work for welfare of society and change the mindset of public towards Patwar fertnity.
The program was scheduled by Provincial organisor Vimal Sharma under campaign Visible AJKPA for welfare of society and also responsibility of each and every Patwari towards society.
Prominent among others, who spoke on occasion, included Mohd Saleem, Harjeet Singh, Chanderjeet Singh Thakur , Onkar Singh, Shankeel Mohd, Surinder Kumar and Milap Singh. Bhupinder, Anoop Singh, Aman , Vikas Bucha, Amandeep Singh, and delegates from Ramban Samba, Jammu were also present.
