Sarkari Bijli

Sir,
Look at the street lights during  late morning hours and they are found running and no one concerned  for the job to switch them off makes one believe in old saying that it is sarkari Bijli and no problem ( if wasted mercilessly).
Now look at those lights provided by the JMC  in  colonies and lanes , most of these are not switched off during day time and they keep on  remaining on lighting mode all the 24 hours despite their control being absolutely  in local hands .It is in most of the cases when some passers by feel over the loss of precious power that they come forward to switch  them off .
One of the tourists once had written about how he was astonished to find flood of electric lights inside  some  shops during the day when they had more than sufficient natural light and even their outer fittings and signings  too had electric lighting during day time which perhaps that Indian tourist had not seen in his state.
Though electric supply and position is comparatively improved , still wasting the same either by government agencies or by private citizens is not only unjustiable but it denies the right to electricity to those who cannot get it because of less production and supply.
Yours etc…..
