JAMMU, Sept 4: Jammu Sanskriti School here today organized a blood donation camp and made the volunteers aware about importance of blood donation.
The camp was conducted under the surveillance of a team of doctors and nurses from Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu.
Dr. Meena Sidhu, HoD Department of Immuno Hematology GMC and Dinesh Gupta, Secretary Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu region inaugurated the Camp.
Principal cum Vice-Chairperson, Rohini Aima; Chairperson, Harpreet Singh Anand; Coordinators and teachers donated blood to save lives of seriously ill people and accident victims.
Prior to the conduct of Camp, Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the school had an interactive session on blood donation wherein she made the gathering aware about blood donation and opportunities for volunteers in this regard.
The camp culminated by giving away of certificates of appreciation, Donation Card and refreshment as a token of gratitude to all the donors.
