JAMMU, Mar 25: Sanjay Kumar Baru, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Working Committee Member and Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) councillor, Ward No. 41, Talab Tillo Bohri distributed dustbins in the Ward today.
Sanjay Baru was accompanied by JMC Sanitary Inspector, Anoop Sharma and JMC Supervisor, William Massi. They distributed dustbins in all temples and Gurudwaras falling under Ward No. 41 of JMC.
Baru said that the dustbins distribution has been done on a very crucial note to encourage the Ward residents to promote the cleanliness in their vicinity as the whole world is today fighting with the menace of Coronavirus with every possible way.
He said that the day corresponds to the first day of holy Navratras and on this day we all must energize ourselves afresh to fight all the devil forces both within and outside our body.
He said that we must all bow to divine forces and pray to Goddess that the world gets rid of this Viral infection that has taken toll of thousands of human lives so far around the world.
Baru, added that we must all take strict precautions and follow all the guidelines given to us by the enforcement agencies to help in containment of Corona infection. He mentioned that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has asked all the Indian residents to strictly follow the lockdown imposed and do not come out of their homes unless and until required on a very urgent note.
While distributing dustbins, Baru stressed that they must cooperate with the JMC for keeping their vicinity clean by putting their kitchen and other waste into these dustbins which will be promptly collected by the JMC’s dedicated workers.
BJP leaders Jatin Sethi and Ashok Singh Wazir were also present on the occasion.
