JAMMU, Aug 2: Authorities have seized sand dumps in Jhajjar Kotli area.
As per police sources, on reliable source that the locals and mining mafia after floods in Jhajjar Nallah in Chaddali area started dumping sand from the said nallah on the bank of Jhajjar Nallah illegally.
On getting information, Tehsildar Dansal Dhruv Gupta and SHO Police Station Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Vikram Sharma rushed to the spot and seized the dumps of the sand.
DMO Jammu has been informed about the seizure.
The illegally dumped sand was handed over to IMA Nagrota for legal action.
