JAMMU, May 10: Working committee meeting of Shree Sanatan Dharam Sabha Jammu and Kashmir was held today at Geeta Bhawan Jammu under the chairmanship of Parshotam Dadhichi, President SSDS, to conduct a detailed review of various religious and social programs completed in the recent past and to formulate a strong and effective strategy for future activities.
At the commencement of the meeting the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor was commemorated during which the indomitable courage and bravery of the Indian Army was praised wholeheartedly and their sacrifices for the security of the nation were honoured.
During the meeting special discussions were held regarding the holy Shree Amarnath Ji Yatra starting in the month of July. Parshotam Dadhichi made a humble appeal to people across the country to participate in this pilgrimage in large numbers and seek the blessings of Lord Bholenath. He stated that Shree Sanatan Dharam Sabha is fully prepared and eager to welcome all devotees arriving from across the nation.
In his address, Dadhichi appreciated the de-addiction campaign being run by the Jammu and Kashmir administration describing it as essential for society. He announced that anti-drug awareness programs would be organized in all schools run by Shree Sanatan Dharam Sabha to protect the younger generation from this social evil and make Jammu and Kashmir completely drug-free.
Sharing the outline of religious events he informed that a grand program will be held on June 29 on the auspicious occasion of Sant Kabir Jayanti featuring a traditional hawan and various public welfare activities in Kabir Basti.
The meeting also decided to organize a massive Matrashakti Sammelan dedicated to women empowerment and their role in society. Additionally the Hitchintan Abhiyan will be launched through which Sabha Karyakartas will reach the doorstep of every Sanatani family to awaken consciousness regarding the values and pride of Sanatan Dharma.
Proceedings of the meeting were conducted by General Secretary Sanjay Gupta while working President Prabhat Singh Jamwal presented the vote of thanks at the conclusion.
On this occasion, all members present offered valuable suggestions to ensure the success of upcoming goals. Others present on the occasion included Shilpi Verma, Rajinder, Kulbhushan, Anil Magotra, Atma Ram, Chand Pandita, Anu Gupta, Dalip Gupta, Ajay Gupta, Manav Mahajan and Keshav Chopra.
