SAMBA, Apr 12: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba police has seized four vehicles including two dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations (PS), Bari Brahmana and Vijaypur which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO Police Station, Bari Brahmana and SHO Police Station, Vijaypur while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized four vehicles including two dumpers bearing Registration Numbers, JK21J-8799, JK21J-5799 and two tractor trolleys without Registration Numbers which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The vehicles were seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
