SAMBA, Oct 14: Samba police has recovered a missing minor girl from Jalandhar (Punjab) in a kidnapping case registered at Police Station (PS), Bari Brahmana.
Police said on October 13, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station (PS) Bari Brahmana by the mother of missing minor girl, a resident of Bari Brahmana district Samba, stating therein that her daughter, of 13 years of age, had gone missing from home. All efforts were made out by the family members but the whereabouts of the missing minor girl could not be ascertained.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR No. 167/2025 U/S 137(2) BNS got registered at Police Station, Bari Brahmana and search was started to trace the said missing girl.
It said team of Police Station (PS) Bari Brahmana after hectic efforts found that the girl was travelling in Malwa Express Train towards Delhi.
SHO PS Bari Brahmana immediately made liaison with Railways and RPF and succeeded in recovering the missing girl from Railway Station, Jalandhar Cantt (Punjab). The girl was safely brought back to PS, Bari Brahmana by the Samba Police.
After completing all legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her legal heirs at PS Bari Brahmana.
