SAMBA, Oct 5: In its continuous drive against bovine smuggling, Samba Police led by Rajeshwar Singh, SHO P/S Vijaypur under the direct supervision of Shamsher Singh Sambyal, Dy SP, SDPO Vijaypur foiled bovine smuggling bid by intercepting a vehicle (Mahindra Bolero) bearing Registration No. JK02BG-4023 in which seven bovine animals were being illegally transported by Bhag Hussain S/o Babu R/o Rakh Barotian and Bhag Ali S/o Gahiya R/o Doulat Chak Ramgarh.
In another case, Bansi Lal, SHO P/S Ramgarh under the direct supervision of Shamsher Singh Sambyal, Dy. SP, SDPO Vijaypur arrested three accused persons namely, Baljeet Singh S/o Harbans Singh, Mohan Singh, Amarjeet Singh both residents of Khour Bhauan, R. S. Pura and Anil Kumar S/o Babhishan Kumar who were illegally carrying 03 bovine animals in a load carrier auto bearing registration No. JK21-7235.
In both the incidents, FIRs under relevant Sections of law have been registered and investigation started.
