SAMBA, Sept 13: A team of Police Station Samba headed by Inspector Yashpaul Jamwal, SHO P/S Samba laid a surprise naka near PWD Rest House Samba and apprehended one Khaginder Singh, 24, S/o Mani Singh R/o Nepal A/P Aarzi Samba and recovered 47 gms of Ganja from his possession. The naka was laid on the directives of SSP Samba Anil Magotra after District Police Samba received a specific information from DSB Samba in this regard,
The accused person was arrested on spot and contraband items were seized. In this regard a case FIR No. 197/17 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered at PS Samba and investigation is going on. The said operation was conducted under the close supervision of Tanveer Ahmed Dy. SP Hqrs. Samba.
