SAMBA, May 11: The deplorable condition of Samba to Batal road has added to problem of the residents as well as tourists visiting Mansar lake.
Despite the number of repeated requests to the concerned authorities by the people who also staged protest demonstrations at Nud the authorities failed to renovate the road resulting into a brewing public resentment in the entire area. The business community is suffering and transporters are also facing a lot of loss as their vehicles develop unwanted problems.
The children and employees often reach their schools and offices late as the plying of vehicles is not smooth on this totally damaged road.
The residents of area in an appeal to R&B Minister have urged him to take immediate steps in restoration of the road which has become a death trap now. They warned to launch agitation in case further delay is made in renovation of the road.
