JAMMU, Mar 4: Samaya, an established name in interior, furniture and furnishing and committed to create space valued commercials and residential premises introduced eco-friendly building solutions.
The function to introduce the eco-friendly sustainable building solutions was held here, which was attended by Payal Saraf, Managing Director, Samaya, Managing Directors of Lingel Germany, Loom Crafts and The Shade Studio, besides large number of dignitaries and building professionals.
While speaking, Payal Saraf said “The construction industry is growing everyday and so are our expectations. Sustainability and maintenance less mechanisms need to be incorporated considering initial cost, maintenance cost and lag time. It has really become a challenge to get good quality material, quality execution and world class finished product at a reasonable price”.
She stated that the solution to these problems lies in pre-fabricated material like UPVC, aluminum windows and doors, pre-fabricated steel building and tensile structures.
“As energy saving is the need of the hour, UPVC system cuts heat, protects curtains and furnishings from fading, and at the same time allows optimum light transmission, therefore, cutting on the electricity bills”, Saraf said, adding that installing UPVC systems makes the space cooler, quieter, water and dust proof and secure.
Lingel Germany is a pioneer in UPVC door and windows with an excellent track record of 10 years with satisfied customers PAN India, she informed.
Loom Crafts offers eco-friendly living spaces with maximum space utilization. Since the frame structure is made of steel, it is environment friendly, light, comparatively flexible and strong. It is highly resistant to earthquakes and can take more load than conventional buildings, Payal maintained.
“Tensile structures are being readily incorporated in building design because of its flexible use as they are highly heat retardant, high temperature and puncture resistant, silicone coated, air tight and can be made in many shapes and designs. The fabrics used are from Mehler Technologies and Serge Ferrari that are German and France based companies respectively”, she said and further informed that tensile structures are much lighter than conventional building structure and have high stability and provide good level of diffused natural daylight. All this is available with The Shade Studio, Payal added.
She added that with these effective building solutions they can hope to create better spaces to live with less of expenditure on pockets. All these solutions are eco-friendly, less time consuming as compared to the regular construction, she stated.
