UDHAMPUR, June 19: ZEO Pancheri Pawan Slathia conducted a surprise visit of various schools in Pancheri Zone and ordered stoppage of salary of six teachers who were found absent from duty.
The ZEO visited Government Middle School Kansal, Government Middle School, Gulla Ban and Government Middle School Thathli.
During the visit, he found that Rajinder Sharma ReT (Reg) teacher of Government Middle School Kansal was unauthorizedly absent from duty.
Out of five teachers of Govt Middle School, Gulla Ban, three teachers namely; Ashok Kumar ReT, Jagdish Singh ReT and Rajni Devi ReT were found un-authorizedly absent from duty without any leave application. Incharge Headmaster of the school was shown on leave but his leave was not dispatched to ZEO Panchari. Moreover the Arrival departure Register of the school was not closed by the second Incharge of the school and very little syllabus was taught to the students.
Satish Kumar, Incharge HM of the Government Middle School Thathli was found absent from the school for the last two days without any movement order on the Order Book.
Taking cognizance of the dereliction of duty, the ZEO issued on spot instructions for stopping the salary of all the erring teachers who were directed to explain their absence from respective schools within three days.
