SAKRS president takes stock of community issues in Billawar

JAMMU, July 31: President of Shri Amar Kashatriya Rajput Sabha (SAKRS), J&K, Narayan Singh, today chaired a meeting of Biradari members at village Pallan in Billawar and took stock of the issues confronting the community in villages of Billawar tehsil.
The Biradari members apprised the president that a Sabha Bhawan at Billawar is still incomplete and it needs to be completed at the earliest. They also raised the issue of unemployment among the youth of the area, stating that no recruitment drive has been conducted in the areas for past many years.
It was also brought to the notice of the president that a multiple (Hydro) Project at Panjtirthi (Billawar) is likely to be under execution and agriculture land of the farmers and others are being acquired by the Government for this purpose. The people demanded that suitable land compensation be paid to the farmers and a job be provided to one member of each family, whose land is acquired.
The SAKRS president assured the Biradri members that he would take up all the issues with the concerned agencies to mitigate the sufferings of the community.
