Sainik School Nagrota organises alumni meet

JAMMU, Dec 20: Sainik School Nagrota organized alumni meet at the school auditorium.
The annual get-together witnessed a large number of alumni of the school from different corners of the world turning up to relive the most memorable moments of seven years of their sojourn in the school.
The event co-ordinator presented the welcome address.
On the occasion, some of the renowned personalities amongst the alumni who are rendering illustrious services in their respective fields namely Prof Keshav Sharma, Management Studies, Jammu University, Prof Deepak Raj Gupta, Director, Department of Tourism and Travel Management, Central University of Jammu, Jahangir Iqbal Ganai, Advocate General, J&K State and VK Seghal, Founder Chairman, J&K and Ladakh Tourism Promotion Council were felicitated amidst loud applause from the audience.
Subsequently, the 1990 pass-out batch of Ex-Nagrotians ascended the stage and commemorated silver jubilee year and as a token of honour they handed over the key of a new Tata 407 vehicle to the Principal of the school.
In his address to the large gathering of ex-students, Col KD Koushal, Principal appreciated their kind gesture and congratulated them for making their alma mater proud by shining in their respective fields.
Further, the General Body meeting of NEXAS took place at the Conference Hall in the School Auditorium. Various points pertaining to their contribution for social cause were discussed at this meeting.
Later, the ex-students visited their respective hostels and interacted with the staff.
