Srinagar, Aug 3: Sainik School Manasbal in the Central Kashmir district of Ganderbal was gutted in a blaze here this evening.
Police said a hostel building of the Sainik School in Ganderbal district was
completely gutted in the fire. The two storey hostel building hosting Iqbal and Indira House was gutted.
Over 20 fire tenders were rushed to the school to douse the flames. Police said all the students at the boarding school were shifted to safer locations.
Top officials of the district administration and Police rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation. Books and belongings of around 120 students perished in the blaze.
