JAMMU, Oct 17: All J&K Saini Sabha has termed the new organization as fake and self-styled.
Addressing a press conference, Ravi Kumar Saini, President of the Sabha along with other office bearers termed the new organization as fake, saying that its members did not have the mandate of the community members.
“I was duly elected by the community as President of the biradari and I would continue to hold the post till fresh elections will be held”, Saini added.
He stated that the self-styled organization claimed to have conducted polls at Bishnah, but Organization is having headquarters at Arnia.
As the whole exercise had taken place unlawfully, we reject the new organization as it is self-styled and has been constituted without any knowledge of the community, he added.
“I represent All J&K Saini Sabha which is properly registered with J&K Government with registration number 846-S 1984”, Saini informed.
He said as per the Sabha Constitution, elections will be held after every five years. As the term of the present body headed by me will expire in coming six months, the Sabha will conduct elections and community members will elect the members of the Sabha, he added.
