SRINAGAR, Apr 15: National Conference general secretary and MLA Khanyar, Ali Mohammad Sagar, today visited Chandpora Jamia Masjid in Nowhatta following a devastating fire that destroyed eight residential houses, to express solidarity with the affected families.
During his visit, he met with the victims and reviewed the extent of the damage caused by the incident. He conveyed his deep sympathies to the families who suffered losses and assured them of comprehensive support during this difficult time. He also pledged assistance from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to aid in immediate relief and longer-term rehabilitation efforts.
Sagar was accompanied by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Srinagar and other senior officials. Emphasizing the urgency of the situation, he urged the administration to expedite relief measures and ensure swift rehabilitation of the displaced families.
He further stressed the need for a coordinated and efficient response, urging officials to take all necessary steps to alleviate the suffering of the affected households.
