JAMMU, Feb 28: A delegation of Safai Karamchari Union led by Union president, Rinku Gill met Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Commissioner and demanded filling up of 600 vacancies of Safai Karamcharis.
Gill told reporters that the Commissioner assured that the vacancies of Safai Karamcharis will be filled up by March this year.
He also informed that the Commissioner has also assured that she will meet the Lieutenant Governor of J&K to discuss the issue of increasing the wages of Safai Karamcharis.
Gulzar Masih, Shehazi Gill, Manga Matoo, Ashwani and others were also present in the delegation.
